A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE
Peach Theatre Company presents A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE by Arthur Miller
“… performances are vibrant and refreshing … the movement of the play is seamless, natural, engaging, and it doesn’t get in the way of a great story.” Caoilinn Hughes – Theatreview
“Certain plays … are rich enough to be visited as often and as long as there are performers with strong, original voices and fresh insights”, says a recent New York Times review of Arthur Miller’s A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE starring Scarlett Johansson and Liev Schrieber. Peach Theatre Company gathers some of New Zealand’s finest actors, including George Henare, Annie Whittle and Shortland Street’s Robbie Magasiva and Anna Jullienne, in this rarely performed masterpiece. This explosive love story centres on a young couple, from two cultures, torn apart in a world of jealousy and obsession. Following on from acclaimed Peach Theatre Company productions of The History Boys and Sweeney Todd, A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE is directed by Jesse Peach and designed by Emily O’Hara. All ticketing is general admission. The duration of the play is approximately 2 hours including interval.
“Riveting to watch … solid and thought provoking” Janet McAllister – Herald
