AN OUTFIT THEATRE CO. PRODUCTION

Directed by Alison Quigan

Adapted by Devlin Bishop and The Outfit Theatre Co.

The Outfit Theatre Company’s adaptation of Treasure Island is back at TAPAC for the July school holidays! With such a fantastic response from audience’s during the 2009 season, such as “best kids show we’ve ever seen” TAPAC and The Outfit have  drawn and polished their swords so you can take part in the fun once more.  Say goodbye to the icky Auckland winter and experience an adventure that takes you across the world and back again in only an hour.  Treasure Island is an exciting, uproarious family show full of humour, sword-fights, singing and dancing. Join young Jim Hawkins and his friends as they sail the high seas searching for Captain Flint’s buried treasure pursued by a band of bloodthirsty pirates, led by the charming but treacherous Long John Silver.  Will Jim find the treasure he seeks, or certain death courtesy of a buccaneer’s cutlass? Complete with a supporting cast of fops, blind hags, talking parrots and crazy castaways!

OPENS: Wednesday 7 July 2010

CLOSES:  Sunday 18 July 2010

TIMES: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 11am / Thur, Sat, Sun 2pm (Unfortunately due to cast illness no 11am shows Sat 17 and Sun 18).
