The JitterBubs Movement and Dance programme has been extensively tried and tested in early childhood centres for more than 3 years.

The programme encourages students to participate and learn at their own pace, in a fun and creative programme designed and developed specifically for their age group.

Previously only offered at early childhood education centres, the JitterBubs programme was designed to work alongside the principles and strands of the NZ Early Childhood Curriculum- Te Whāriki.

The programme provides a foundation which aids the children in future movement and dance training as well as their development and transition into pre-school and into school.

Jitterbubs understand that young children learn holistically and thus their motto is Discover, Develop, Dance,  as the child discovers their body through movement. Jitterbubs aid children in developing fundamental skills such as balance, rhythm, coordination, listening, confidence and creativity through the elements of dance and movement.

Note: No class on Easter Monday (1 April 2024)

Camila Leal Rossi

Camila is a graduate from the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts (NASDA), with a performing background in singing, dancing and acting. She began training in classical ballet from the age of 5 for over 14 years, later branching out to the disciplines of Jazz, Latin dancing and Musical Theatre. Combining her skills in the performing arts and love of working with children, she created JitterBubs Movement and Dance in 2017. JitterBubs specialises in on-site movement and dance programmes for early childhood centres.  Now, Camila and her team deliver weekly dance and movement programmes to ECE centres across Auckland. With more than 10 years of teaching experience and over four years specialising in early childhood, Camila is incredibly passionate about her work with young dancers.

Camila is excited to be bringing her classes to TAPAC where she hopes to help students discover and develop a new passion!
