This 4-day course will concentrate on learning; songs, choreography and scenes from a popular musical, culminating in a performance presentation for an invited audience.

Bring out your inner Broadway star! Join experienced performers from The Stage Company and bring out the performer and dancer in you at Showtime Musical Theatre...

Students will gain confidence in acting, singing and dancing in a focused and fun environment . You'll work towards a showcase of numbers from a popular musical, which you'll stage for family and friends at the end of the course.


Ham or vegetarian lunchboxes ($10 per day) can be ordered when you pay for the course or pre-ordered each morning. Lunchboxes include: 

  • 1 x ham or vegetarian roll sandwich (includes salad, cheese and spreads)
  • 1 x piece of fruit
  • Carrot sticks
  • 1 x pack of chips
  • 1 x piece of brownie
  • 1 x Charlie’s juice pouch

The Stage Company

The Stage Company is a professional children's theatre company renowned for their high-energy and hilarious musical pantomimes. Their shows are enjoyed by thousands of Auckland children every year through the Southern Stars Charitable Trust KISS (Kids In Show Seats) programme, which enables disadvantaged children to experience live theatre. The Stage Company has co-produced a number of TAPAC's annual October children's shows, including Tom's Marvellous Imagination, Beauty & the Beast and Alice in Wonderland.
