For 30 years Pooja has been head chef at Dhaba canteen, an iconic Sindhi culinary establishment. Her authentic menu and signature dishes carry forward the stories of survival and the traditions from the homeland that they were forced out of.
But times are changing, and so are people’s tastes. With the restaurant on the verge of foreclosure, the fate of Dhaba Canteen now lies upon her two daughters Rita and Sindhu. To thrive or survive? What is the price for carrying on a legacy? How far will you go for the ones you love?
An intergenerational story about love, legacies and letting go against a backdrop of intergenerational clashes and conflict that can be found in every culture
