This performing arts course is fun and beneficial for your 7+ year old! Children will learn to develop social skills, drama skills and self-belief through drama.

Children will use their bodies and their imagination in this workshop to create their own characters and work towards a performance on the final day, which parents are welcome to attend.

Finley Hughes

Finley Hughes

Finley Hughes is an award winning actor and musical theatre performer originally from Kirikiriroa. He is a graduate of The National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts (NASDA). Since graduating, Finley has worked with The Court Theatre, Auckland Theatre Company, Circa Theatre, Barbarian Productions, Two Productions, Red Leap Theatre Company just to name a few. Recently, Finley toured New Zealand in the critically acclaimed play The Haka Party Incident in which he won 'Most Promising New Comer' at the Wellington Theatre Awards. He has since had his international theatre debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, before completing filming on the beloved New Zealand television series The Brokenwood Mysteries. Finley’s next step in discovering his artistry will be attending the prestigious Ecole Philippe Gaulier in France next year.
