Getting here

TAPAC is conveniently located at 100 Motions Road in Western Springs, Auckland (opposite Auckland Zoo). We are 6km from downtown Auckland and less than 5km from Ponsonby Road. BY CAR: Located close to the St Lukes motorway offramp and Great North Road, driving here is easy. BY BUS: We are located close to the Zoo and Motat bus stops on Great North Road and Meola Road.

Parking

We have a huge carpark at the front of the building for your use. This is facilitated by Auckland Transport and within the hours 8am - 5pm is rated $2 an hour of $8 for the day. There is free 3 hour parking available on Motions road and the main car park becomes free after 5pm. Parents can easily park and come and enjoy a coffee at our bar/café when dropping off or collecting children.

TAPAC welcomes people of all abilities.  If you have any specific access requirements, please talk to us on 09 845 0295 prior to your visit and we are more than happy to make arrangements to suit your situation.

Building Access

We have four steps to the front entrance from the main carpark. Our side entrance on the right of the building has an access ramp into the foyer which is at ground level with the theatre, studios and rest of the building.

Toilets

The toilets in our main foyer have an accessible cubicle.

Theatre

Theatre configurations vary depending on the production, but we are always able to reserve places for wheelchairs and other specific requirements. Please visit our box office or call on 09 845 0295 to book wheelchair accessible tickets to theatre shows.

Lost property

NB: You can come and search our lost property bin during opening hours.
Please note on the first day of every month all lost property will be donated to charity or disposed of. Cell phones, jewelry or any expensive items are kept at reception.
