This high-energy programme takes a contemporary, fierce and fun approach to musical theatre that will enhance your singing, dancing and acting and help you unleash your unique star power…

Led by professional performer Hayz Pincheira-Rowe, students will learn singing, acting and choreography techniques for show-stopping musical theatre performances.

The programme is inspired by popular international musicals, and students will get to showcase their skills in a performance at the end of the week.

Beginners are welcome and no prior experience of musical theatre is necessary.

Hayz Pincheira Rowe

Hayz Pincheira Rowe

Hayz is the Managing Director of New Zealand Performing Arts, a professional performing arts training centre in Auckland, which offers Trinity Diplomas. She graduated with a Higher Diploma in Theatre Arts and ISTD Dance Instruction from London’s Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts, where she also taught. Hayz has performed in numerous stage productions in the UK and has featured in TV series and music videos for performers such as Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas. She has worked with stunt performers in movies such as Blood Diamond and National Treasure and works closely with KISS Theatre Company.

Melanie is an all round creative who works consistently on everything from film to stage both in front of audiences and behind the scenes.
She studied a diploma in theatre arts at New Zealand Performing Arts, graduating in 2016 and has since then gone on to continue training with various tutors to develop different aspects of her craft and be able to carry it forward into her work. 

Melanie has choreographed, stage managed and performed in a number of musicals and stage shows around Auckland including shows such as The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged which included a mixture of scripted and improvised with audience work. 

When it comes to screen she has a breadth of experience having worked on large scale projects for Netflix, BBC, Amazon Prime etc., Live Television as the Floor Manager for the children’s show What Now for 3 years as well as many other live shows and producing her own smaller scale series and films.
