Ebony Rose Andrew

Ebony Andrew descends from Ngāti Maniapoto, Ireland and Scotland and was born and raised in Tāmaki Makaurau. Her love for classical singing was ignited when she travelled to Germany in 2015 to compete in The European Choir Games. The desire to make a career for herself in performance was encouraged after she was one of the very few individuals in New Zealand to be awarded with an Outstanding Scholarship in Drama in 2016. Recently, Ebony graduated from The University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Voice. In Addition, Ebony trained as an actor with Auckland based theatre company, Massive Company from 2015-2019 in their emerging artists training programme.
