Indian Ink’s newest play surprises as our actors are joined on stage by a different choir every night.

The choirs have rehearsed their songs but have no idea of the story as they are plunged into the world of the modern office. The actors deftly guide the chorus through a hilarious drama that is elevated by the beauty and power of people harmonising in song.

Featuring contemporary New Zealand hits and a fresh take on classic tunes, Dirty Work is a comedy about finding joy in the eternal toil of work.

Born out of a collaboration with choral master John Rosser, leading choir Viva Voce and featuring over 20 people on stage we take things up an octave in our biggest show ever.

Indian Ink’s award-winning creative team continue to astonish as we celebrate 25 years of world-class theatre. Jacob Rajan zooms in for a very special guest appearance, Justin Rogers returns following his brilliant performance in Mrs Krishnan’s Party and we can’t wait to introduce you to Adeline Esther and Catherine Yates

This world premier is a celebration of unsung heroes that is guaranteed to excite and delight.
