Improve your mobility and fitness, meet new people and have a good dance in this fun, friendly and free dance and movement programme, designed especially for seniors with age-related challenges such as early stages of dementia or Parkinsons, stroke recovery, heart problems, advanced arthritis, hip, knee, or shoulder injuries, etc. SeniorsDANCE is an enjoyable way for seniors to stay active, develop creativity, resilience, and address the four important well-beings: physical, mental, social and spiritual.
Learn contemporary dance movements from professional dance teacher Susan Jordan to improve your balance and coordination, keep joints mobile and improve your strength and flexibility. Susan has been awarded a QSM (Queen's Service Medal) for her many years of service to dance and seniors.

No partner or experience required and seniors with walkers and in wheelchairs are welcome. You are welcome to come with a support person if necessary. This class is suitable for seniors who are not active and able enough to attend typical senior dance classes. There is high demand for this programme, so we kindly ask that if you enrol you make your best effort to attend every week.
