Loud & Proud TAPAC

This empowering songwriting workshop for Rainbow Youth aged 13-24 offers practical skills for writing, performing and recording your own original music.

Tutor Bray Jeffrey (they/them) will show you how to explore and celebrate your queer identity through song.

You’ll connect with other aspiring songwriters in a safe, supportive space to build your creativity, self-expression and skills.

You’re welcome to bring your own instruments.

This free workshop is part of the first Next Wave: Waitematā Youth Week Festival

Tutor Bray Jeffrey is a skilled and prolific songwriter and composer who has written and recorded for television (Odds and Ends), theatre (Schlunted, The Downs and Ups of Peep and Squeak) and radio (Navvy, Treenurse, Lucky Boy). Bray is a multi-instrumentalist with experience in tutoring piano, keyboard and guitar as well as vocals and songwriting at TAPAC, Auckland University and numerous schools across Auckland. They love working with youth to help them become better musicians, writers and performers.
